2 weeks already!

Hello again! We can’t believe we’ve been here for two weeks already! Time is just flying by here in Pond Inlet.   We have just about finished our second week of teaching! Each week we teach 4 lessons to 5 different classes in Junior High as well as some to the High School students. Week 1 in Fort Providence

Hello, from Fort Providence, We’ve just finished our first full week in the classroom at Deh Gah elementary and secondary school, and it was quite the busy week. We’ve been getting settled into the community and getting into the classrooms while participating in community events and afterschool programming. Week 1 Complete!

It’s been a busy week here in sunny (and sometimes snowy) Webequie and we could not be happier to be here! Our first week was full of   introductions to students, teachers, and community members. Our First Week in Pond Inlet!

Hi everyone! We arrived safely in Pond Inlet last Thursday (although our luggage didn’t arrive until Friday!) and have been busy lesson planning and meeting new people ever since. Today, we starting teaching in the classrooms by doing an introductory lesson with some grade 7 and 8 class in the Junior High at Nasivvik High School. Welcome to Yellowknife!

Howdy, everyone! After leaving Toronto bright and early this morning, and with a quick stop in Edmonton, we have successfully arrived in Yellowknife!
