Hi Katie and Megan…….wow! Your blog and sharing of experiences with the community are inspiring to read. It looks like a great start to your adventure….the kids must love having you there! Kelsey mentioned simple art ideas might be helpful?? I can e mail you some if you like…she mentioned coffee filters? Today we coloured the round, tissue ones with blue and green water based felts. We sprayed them with a water sprayer….let them dry as the colours soak in. Next, we traced and cut out their hands from construction paper. We glued them on the back of the dried “earth” and bent the fingers to the front…thumbs out straight to look like their holding the earth. Happy to help you if I can,
Take care and continue to enjoy your stay…..look forward to hearing more!
Love,
Aunt Janice
